October 15 Writer Drawing
No purchase is necessary. A free writer account earns one ticket, Premium adds one, and verified Gold Laurel Elite status adds one—for a maximum of three.
Organizer notice: these rules must receive final legal review before the drawing is promoted or opened, because sweepstakes requirements vary by location.
1. Sponsor and status
The drawing is administered by Scriptageddon and Hazard Talent Management. IMDb and IMDbPro are not sponsors, administrators, or endorsers of this promotion. The IMDbPro access offered is supplied from an existing paid group account.
2. Drawing period
Eligible account and status records will be counted at 11:59 a.m. Central Time on October 15, 2026. The random drawing is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Central Time that day. Scriptageddon may postpone the drawing if technical failure, fraud, or circumstances outside its control prevent a fair selection.
3. Eligibility
Entrants must be at least 18 years old, have one valid Scriptageddon writer account, and live where the promotion and prizes are lawful. Employees, contractors, household members, and anyone involved in administering the drawing are not eligible. Void where prohibited. One person may not create or use multiple accounts to gain tickets.
4. How tickets are awarded
Every eligible registered writer account receives one ticket automatically. An active monthly Scriptageddon Premium subscription at the cutoff adds one ticket. Verified Gold Laurel Elite status at the cutoff adds one ticket. The maximum is three tickets per writer. No purchase is necessary. Paid or Gold status improves the odds only by adding a ticket and never guarantees a prize.
5. Prizes
Two winners will each choose either: (A) six months of access through the sponsor's existing paid IMDbPro group account plus six months of Scriptageddon Premium; or (B), if the winner already pays for IMDbPro, twelve months of Scriptageddon Premium instead. Prizes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be sold. IMDbPro access remains subject to IMDb's own terms and continued group-plan availability.
6. Random selection and notification
Two winners will be selected at random from all eligible tickets. A writer may win only once. Winners will be contacted through the email attached to their Scriptageddon account and an in-app message. A winner must respond within seven calendar days and complete any required eligibility confirmation. If a winner is ineligible or does not respond, another ticket will be drawn at random.
7. Privacy and publicity
Account information is used to verify eligibility, count tickets, conduct the drawing, and contact winners. It is not sold. A winner's name or pen name will be announced only with permission, except where disclosure is required by law.
8. Fairness and disqualification
Automated checks and a human review may remove duplicate, fraudulent, ineligible, or manipulated accounts and tickets. Scriptageddon may disqualify conduct that interferes with the drawing or violates the site's Terms of Service. Decisions about administration and eligibility are final where permitted by law.
9. General conditions
Taxes and any costs not specifically listed are the winner's responsibility. By participating, entrants agree to these rules and release the sponsor from claims arising from participation or prize use, to the extent permitted by law. Governing law and any mandatory local consumer protections still apply.
