Human Reads — professional coverage, written by people

• Human Reads are a separate, paid, no-AI service, presented as Scriptageddon — Courtesy of Hazard Talent Management. A writer submits a PDF with a title page, describes what they want from the review, and can ask Don Chuy to help draft their logline and synopsis before submitting.
• Experienced readers can apply from the homepage. Their fixed-question application includes professional experience, judgment, confidentiality, working standards and a private optional coverage sample. Angelo interviews applicants and decides who joins the reader team.
• Approved readers receive a private Reader Code and a desk for assigned scripts. Angelo assigns work personally. Coverage uses the same fifteen categories scored 1–20, a separate 1–5 project viability decision, evidence from the pages, development priorities and writer-potential notes.
• Every report goes to Angelo for review before a writer sees it. He records his own AI-detection result and can return or reassign coverage. Delivered writers can read and download the report, rate the reader in five areas and raise a problem within seven days.
• Human Reads have separate prices for public writers, Premium members and Gold Laurel writers; readers receive 75% of the amount after card fees. They do not change Armageddon Scores, laurels, trophies or standings. Reader payouts are recorded for manual payment; approval emails and automatic AI detection are not yet in place.
• Full-read intake now catches oversized manuscripts before a credit is charged and points writers to the First 60 or Last 60 option, addressing recent whole-script reading failures.

Clearer pricing, awards and ScriptWar rooms

• Pricing, membership and credits now share one public guide. It explains Armageddon, Salvage and Red Pen Passes, their exchanges and limits, the four current bundles, and what members and Gold Laurel writers pay. Older token and economy links point to this guide.
• ScriptWar now explains its 32-writer rooms and rounds in plain language. Writers can make fighters; members enlist; Angelo starts voting after a room fills. Public room status and votes are visible without exposing the private creator bracket.
• The homepage highlights Your Awards for the signed-in writer; example awards moved to the trophy guide. Holly Fouche's first-perfect-score feather remains attached to her historical 225/225 achievement.
• The writer's dashboard groups repeat uploads of the same project and compares older 225-point reads on a like-for-like scale without changing the stored scores. Pilot and feature projects remain separate, and reads under authorship review are not presented as verified rankings.
• Wasteland Wire scheduling now follows Chicago time, keeps send receipts and reports failures to the creator. Live scheduled delivery still needs confirmation.

More reliable reads and a steadier 4.0 experience

• Full assessments continue if a writer's phone sleeps or they leave the reading page. The 300-point consistency check repairs missing evidence rather than discarding an otherwise valid read; failures still restore a spent credit.
• Readiness descriptions now cover the full 300-point range in human terms. Older 225-point reads keep their original scores and verdicts instead of being rewritten.
• ScriptWar shows full rooms waiting for Angelo's horn and lets writers join a later room when their earlier room finishes. The lighter homepage artwork and clearer first-visit path keep the main action visible.
• A blank Wasteland Wire starter no longer blocks Don Chuy from writing a full draft for that same date; the generated text replaces the starter rather than falsely claiming it was ready.

Scriptageddon 4.0 — The 300-point scale, Armageddon Tokens, and ScriptWar opens its gates

• The Armageddon Score is now out of 300: fifteen categories at twenty points each. Gold Laurel clears at 275, Silver runs 190 to 274.99, Elite standing at 270, and a producer read at 280. Every score earned before today keeps its original scale and is shown as it was earned — a 225 stays a perfect 225 out of 225, forever.
• Armageddon Tokens are purchased premium currency: one buys a full assessment of any eligible format and never expires. Salvage comes from rewards and membership and funds format-priced reads (TV 1, feature or stage 2, longer books 3); earned-token assessments have a rolling ten-per-week limit. Red Pen Passes fund focused notes; the limited read and What's Wrong With My Script are one-token options. Punch-Up Tokens retain their own existing allowance.
• Every existing balance was converted automatically: purchased coins became purchased tokens one for one, leftover free full reads became two earned tokens each, and score-only reads became one each. Nobody lost anything they bought.
• Membership is now $9.99 a month with 25 monthly Salvage Tokens for format-priced reads, not 25 guaranteed full assessments. Writers who joined before today keep their founding rate while their subscription stays active. Gold Laurel Elites get the $5 monthly rate for one year, then the standard rate.
• ScriptWar is real. Build your fighter — upload a portrait or generate a survivor — and enlist in the first war. Anyone with an account can create a fighter; enlisting in a war is for members. Wars never start on their own: Angelo sounds the horn.
• Table Read Opportunities are open: submit a scene and a working actor from Castageddon records it. You pay only after an actor claims your scene, capped at $50.
• Invite a writer and you both earn: when the writer you invite buys any paid membership, you each receive one full read and three Red Pen Passes.
• What's Wrong With My Script gives you the ten biggest hazards on your pages for one token — no scores, saved as a report you can download as a PDF, and it keeps reading even if you leave the page.
• The Wasteland Wire can now be scheduled: the owner picks the issue date and the exact send time, and the issue goes out to subscribers on its own.
• New trophies bring the ladder to 32, including five for ScriptWar, table reads and the Hazard Desk. The Completionist laurel now requires all 32.
