What exactly is the Armageddon Score™?

A fifteen-category evaluation of your screenplay, each scored 0.0–15.0, for a maximum of 225. Every category comes back with what is genuinely working, the biggest hazard holding it back, and one concrete revision step. It measures the development level of the draft in front of it — not your talent, and not the script's commercial future.

Is a human reading my script?

The assessment engine is AI, guided by the Armageddon Score rubric written by Hazard Talent Management. We say that plainly because you deserve to know. What the engine will never do is rewrite your work, sell your pages, or pretend a weak draft is strong. Scripts that reach the Elite tier are additionally flagged for human read consideration at Hazard.

Is the Armageddon Score a prediction that my film will sell?

Accepted Answer

No. It is a development measurement of the draft in front of us. It tells you where the screenplay is strong, where it is at risk, and what to work on next.

How long does an assessment take?

Accepted Answer

Minutes, not weeks. You will see progress while your screenplay is being evaluated, and your results are saved to your dashboard permanently.

Can I re-test a rewritten draft?

Yes — that is the point. Upload each draft as a new version of the same project and your dashboard tracks category-by-category movement over time.

Read the recommendations before you read the number again. Every low score comes with a specific, actionable path forward, and the tier notes tell you exactly what screenwriters at the next level do differently. Then rewrite and run it again — watching your score move across drafts is the point of the whole system.

What is Scriptageddon Elite?

Scores of 205–225. Elite screenwriters get a permanent badge, three months of membership comped, five bonus premium assessments, spotlight placement, priority support, and their script flagged for read consideration at Hazard Talent Management.

What exactly do I get for free?

Accepted Answer

Creating an account gives you 2 complete premium assessments plus 3 score-only reads — 5 free submissions in total. A score-only read returns your overall Armageddon Score out of 225, a rotating 3 of the 15 category results, and general feedback. A one-time assessment can unlock one of those reports in full or cover a brand-new screenplay.

What is an Armageddon Coin?

A one-time credit. One coin fully unlocks any assessment — either upgrading a score-only report you already ran, or covering a brand-new premium submission. Buy one, or take a bundle: 3 coins for the price of 2, or 5 for the price of 3.

Do my coins expire?

No. Purchased coins have no expiry date. They sit in your account until you spend them.

What does the membership include?

The $4.99 monthly membership gives you 15 full premium assessments every billing month, with all 15 categories unlocked every time. If you use all 15 before the month resets, an Armageddon Coin covers any extra reads. It is by far the cheapest way to run drafts through repeatedly.

How do I cancel a membership?

From your account settings, at any time. Cancelling stops future billing and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for — and any Armageddon Coins you bought stay in your account permanently.

Can I get a refund?

What file formats can I submit?

Accepted Answer

Standard screenplay exports — PDF, Word (.docx), and Final Draft (.fdx) — plus plain text, or paste your pages directly. Keep standard screenplay formatting (sluglines, character cues, action) because the engine reads structure as well as content.

Question 15

Do you keep, sell, or train on my screenplay?

Accepted Answer

No. Your pages are stored so you can revisit your own reports, and they are never sold, published, or used to train models. Nothing about your work is public unless you personally switch on your public profile and leaderboard listing.

Do you own or claim any rights to my screenplay?

Accepted Answer

No. You retain every right to your material. Scriptageddon never claims ownership, never sells your work, and never shares it with third parties for their own use.

Can I hide a project?

Yes. Every screenplay on your dashboard has a visibility toggle. Hidden projects never appear on the leaderboard, on your public screenwriter page, or anywhere else.
