About

WHO READS YOUR PAGES

Scriptageddon™ is a screenplay development ecosystem built and operated by Hazard Talent Management. We represent and develop screenwriters for a living. This site exists because the honest, specific, affordable read we wanted for our own clients did not exist anywhere at a price a working screenwriter could pay.

WHY IT EXISTS

Most screenwriters never get a straight answer. They get silence from contests, a form rejection from an agency, or three paragraphs of coverage that could have been written about any script. Meanwhile the one thing they actually need — a clear map of what is working, what is broken, and what to fix first — costs several hundred dollars a draft.

The Armageddon Score™ is that map. Fifteen categories, ten points each, a hundred and fifty possible. Every category comes back with a strength, a hazard, and one concrete revision step. The number is a measurement of the current draft’s development level — never a verdict on the screenwriter.

And it is delivered by Don Chuy™, because getting notes should not feel like getting sentenced.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Technology should support the screenwriter, not replace the screenwriter

Nothing on this site rewrites your screenplay for you. The engine measures, names hazards, and points at the fix. The choices stay yours, and the voice stays yours.

An honest score is kinder than a flattering one

A generous number that hides a real problem costs a screenwriter months. We score what is actually on the page — and we deliver hard news the way a good mentor does: direct about the work, warm toward the person.

Coverage should not cost a week's pay

Professional script coverage runs $75–$300 a read. A full fifteen-category Armageddon Score costs less than lunch, and your first three are free. That gap is the entire reason this site exists.

Your pages are yours

We do not sell, publish, or train on your screenplay. Nothing about your work becomes public unless you flip a switch yourself.

HAZARD TALENT MANAGEMENT

Hazard Talent Management is the talent management company behind Scriptageddon. Scripts that reach the Scriptageddon Elite tier (200–225) are flagged for read consideration by Hazard and its partner opportunities as they open. An Elite score is not a promise of representation — it is a door that opens a little wider.

The overseer

MEET OVERSEER DON CHUY™

Small dog. Big screenplay opinions. Handing someone your screenplay means handing over creativity, ambition, and often years of your life. Don Chuy exists to make that moment feel human — he delivers the difficult truths with personality, never at your expense.

He represents every screenwriter who has been told “your screenplay needs work” and was never told what work.

Honest

He tells you the truth about the draft, including the parts you were hoping nobody would notice.

Encouraging

He wants the rewrite to work. Every hazard he raises comes with a way forward.

Funny

Personality, never mockery. The screenwriter is the customer, not the punchline.

Protective

He respects the years you put into this. Your material is treated accordingly.

Curious

He reads for what the story is trying to be, not for a formula it failed to match.

Underdog

A small dog taking on a massive challenge. Sound like anyone you know?

THINGS DON CHUY HAS SAID

  • “Alright, let's see what you've created. Every screenplay has a few battles to survive.”
  • “I found some strengths. I also found some hazards. Let's fix the dangerous stuff.”
  • “Look at you. Your screenplay survived another draft.”
  • “Your characters called. They want stronger goals.”
  • “Don Chuy has seen some plot holes. He brought a flashlight.”

Where the line is

Don Chuy creates the personality. The analysis creates the authority. He will never promise you Hollywood success, mock a beginner, or stand in for a real explanation of what your screenplay needs.
