Tokens & credits explained
Two read tokens. One focused-note pass.
Armageddon · bought
One token buys a full read of any eligible format or unlocks a score-only report. Purchased tokens never expire and have no weekly assessment limit.
Salvage · earned
Rewards and membership supply Salvage. Reads cost 1–3 or more depending on format and length. Banked reward Salvage stays; the 25 member Salvage reset monthly. Earned-token reads are limited to 10 in a rolling seven days.
Red Pen Passes: one pass buys a focused Red Pen Note or Dialogue X-Ray. They have their own pass balance today and can be bought directly or obtained by exchange: 1 Salvage → 5 passes; 1 Armageddon → 10 passes. Passes never convert back into read tokens.
Emergency exchange: when your Armageddon balance is zero, exchange 3, 6 or 9 banked reward Salvage for 1, 2 or 3 Armageddon. At most two exchanges per Chicago calendar month, resetting at midnight Chicago on the first. Monthly member Salvage cannot be traded up.
Smaller jobs: a limited read of the first or last 60 pages and What’s Wrong With My Script each cost one token as offered in their tools. Punch-Up Tokens remain a separate existing tool allowance or purchase; no new specialty currency has been added.

Earned balances pay first when available; unusually long projects add Salvage by page band. Red Pen Passes fund focused notes: 1 Salvage converts to 5 passes, 1 Armageddon to 10. With no Armageddon left, exchange up to 9 banked reward Salvage into 3 Armageddon per trade, twice each Chicago month. Red never converts back. Buy tokens — 3 for the price of 2
WHAT A FULL READ COSTS
Armageddon covers a full read for one token, any format. Earned Salvage pays by format and length; pages beyond the normal band add one Salvage per extra 120 pages.
Television pilot

Pilots, half-hours and limited-series episodes run short, so they cost one coin.
Feature film
2 Salvage Tokens · up to up to 140 pages
A feature-length screenplay is two coins for the complete read.
Stage play

Book / Novel
3 Salvage Tokens · up to 251–370 pages
A book or novel over 250 pages is three tokens; a shorter manuscript is two.
Every format is scored on fifteen categories out of 300; pre-launch reads stay out of 225. The categories are renamed to fit the medium. A Gold Laurel opens at 275 for feature film and book work, and at 275 for television and stage pages, which are read on a tighter ruler. A limited 60-page read always costs one token when selected in the assessment tool, whatever the format.
