The Refugee Program
Every award you have ever earned belongs on your name.
It started with Coverfly. On August 1, 2025 it went dark, and ScreenCraft, WeScreenplay, The Script Lab and The Tracking Board went with it — years of scores, Red List standing, quarterfinals, semifinals and placements, gone overnight.
The program is bigger than that now. Any award, accolade or trophy you earned anywhere — a contest, a festival, a fellowship, a lab, a studio program, a publisher, a theatre, a platform still running or long closed — can be filed here, verified by hand, and displayed on your Scriptageddon writer page under Previous Awards & Accolades. Don Chuy attaches the matching emblem where we have one, and those laurels ride above your name and your headshot, so anyone landing on your page sees what you have already won before they read another word. The point is simple: exposure, and a page that looks as legitimate and as exceptional as your record actually is.

File the record
Any award, placement, selection, fellowship, ranking or honour you earned anywhere — a contest, a festival, a lab, a publisher, a theatre, a platform that closed. One entry per credential, as many as you have earned.

Prove it however you can
A live web link, the certificate PDF, the announcement email, a dated screenshot of an old dashboard, a festival programme page. Up to three files plus a link on every entry.

A person verifies it
Every claim is read and approved or declined by hand by the Scriptageddon front office. No honour system, no auto-approval, no exceptions.

It goes on your name
Approved records appear in PREVIOUS AWARDS & ACCOLADES on your public writer page — carried above your name and headshot, where every VIP and every writer sees it first. Your first verified claim also earns one free full assessment.
What counts as proof
- A live website link to the announcement, programme or winners page
- The certificate, award letter or contest PDF
- The notification email, forwarded or screenshotted
- A dated screenshot of an old dashboard or profile
- A press mention, festival catalogue page or playbill
- Anything else a human being can read and confirm
The honest part
A verified record is displayed as exactly what it is: a credential awarded by someone else, confirmed by us. It is never folded into your Armageddon Score, never counted toward a Scriptageddon laurel, and never used to jump a leaderboard. The only score with our name on it is the one Don Chuy gives your pages.
