The only proof that an education landed is a category score that moved. Everything else — feeling better about the pages, liking the new scene — is self-report, and self-report is exactly what the assessment exists to replace.
So close the loop deliberately. Take one weak category, do the work prescribed for it, then submit the new draft as a draft rather than a new project so the comparison is clean and the history stays attached to the same script.
Expect uneven movement. Fixing structure often drops pacing temporarily, because a reordered middle exposes seams that were previously hidden. That is normal and readable in the comparison, and it is far more useful than a flat score that hides both.
Then repeat with the next weakest category. Writers who improve fastest are not the ones who rewrite the most; they are the ones who change one variable at a time and can point at the evidence.
